Easy Ways to Save Money

To get on the road to financial freedom, youve got to have a budget to help you focus on achieving your financial goals. If youd like to own your own home someday or pay off all your credit card debt, you need to plan ahead and set aside money to make your dreams a reality. But saving money can seem impossible when youre already reaching to pay all your bills. Fear not it can be done! Check out some of these easy tips to help you start saving money.

Spare Change Matters

Dont underestimate the power of the penny! If dont think you can afford to put any extra money into a savings account, commit to saving your loose change for that purpose. At the end of each day, put all your loose coins in a jar or a cheap piggy bank. As your jar fills up, stop by a Coinstar machine and deposit the cash into your savings account.

Let Online Banking Help You

Online banking makes it easy to transfer money to your savings account. If have direct deposit for your paycheck, you should be able to set up an automatic transfer so that a portion of your money automatically goes to your savings account. If you never see the money, in your checking account, you wont be as tempted to spend it. Most experts recommend that you automatically deposit 10% of your take-home pay, but if this is too much for you to start with, try to work up to it.

Learn the Trading Game

If youre great with kids, why not volunteer to watch a colleagues children in exchange for a free ride to work? Or offer to trade some of your world-famous pies for some auto repair work from a car-loving friend. Everyone have some skills use the things youre good at to trade for the goods and services youd otherwise pay for.

Cut Your Utility Bills

With the explosive growth of modern technology, it seems that theres some new gadget for every task. Using all these tools can make your life easier, but it also increases your energy bill. One night a week, wash your dishes by hand, or hang your clothes to dry on a clothesline in your laundry room. Buy a carpet sweeper or a manual lawnmower to replace their energy-guzzling alternatives. Youll cut your energy bill and develop a new-found respect for your pioneer ancestors.

Live the High Life on a Budget

Buying a $5 coffee everyday or catching dinner and a movie every Friday night with your partner can quickly chip away at your savings. If you cant give up your Starbucks, consider switching to plain black coffee with a bit of flavored creamer. Youll save money as well as all those calories in your grande caramel macchiato! Learn to cook a nice dinner to serve by candlelight in your home and follow it up with your favorite old movie on the couch.

If some of these tradeoffs dont sound like much fun, try to keep your financial goals in mind. Picture yourself moving into your new home or driving down the road in your Ferrari convertible. If you stay focused on your goals, youll find it much easier to stick with your budget and save more money. Getting Money From A Reverse Mortgage

A reverse mortgage allows homeowners over the age of 62 to cash in on the equity of their home. The homeowner can use these funds in anyway they want. Some have used the money for extended term care or home improvements.Homeowners usually run into very little difficulty in securing these funds. The funds are practically free because with the exception of the fees, more than likely, the mortgages will not be paid back over the course of the homeowners life.

There are several payment options to choose when receiving funds from a reverse mortgage. In most cases you can choose one or more of them based on your needs.

* Getting your money in a lump sum: Most often the money from a reverse mortgage is paid in a lump sum. You will receive one payment which equals the value of your home.

* Getting a specific amount paid over the course of a number of years: With this option the homeowner will receive payments over a specific course of time, 10 years for example. This could be a great help in managing funds over a period of time.

* Getting a specific amount paid to the homeowner every month until they die or permanently move out of their home: Receiving monthly payments gives the homeowner a sense of security in knowing that their money will not run out before they die.

* Getting a line of credit. Funds can be provided as a line of credit and be paid back to the lender. A specific amount could be taken out to make repairs or to pay a bill as the funds are needed.

Getting the right type of terms for your needs is totally up to you.Give thought to what your needs are, how much funding is required and how soon you will need the funds. Some homeowners have gotten a lump sum and transferred it into a savings account until needed. The funds are yours and you can do whatever you want to with it with no restrictions.

Juggling with Grace: An Art Form for Busy Women

Too Many Balls in the Air!

I am sure at some point you have heard the term, Ive got way too many balls in the air. In fact, you most likely uttered these words yourself. Implied in this kind of statement is the fear that you might drop one of the balls; the fear that if you pause to catch you breath all the balls will hit the ground and things in your life will get crazy. Too many balls in the air can translate into a weekly schedule like this:
Go to a full time job
Soccer practice with the kids Tues and Thursday evening
Volunteering on Monday Morning
Company coming in from out of town this weekend
Water the garden
Pay the bills
Wash the clothes
Make the meals
Clean the house
Sometimes even mundane life can feel all over the map and focus is difficult. Perhaps the problem is that on your big, long priorities list your name doesnt show up anywhere. When you are juggling you can experience stress, resentment, fatigue, a lack of enthusiasm, a loss of control or overwhelming discomfort.

So What Can You Do To Make A Positive Transition?

You can continue to toss balls at a break neck speed and simply hope to keep up if that is what you want. However, consider trying out a new skill! Any busy woman can master the art of Juggling with Grace. This new skill requires a shift in your thinking, a bit of creative brainstorming, and a dose of support to ensure lasting change.

Start Juggling With Grace Through Practical Personal Empowerment

Here are the down to earth basics: In order to shift from way too many balls in the air to Juggling with Grace you have to make a plan, which has to be obtainable and you need to elicit support. Change in behavior takes time. If your familiar habit is to live in the high gear, fast lane then you will have to down shift, change lanes and get used to a more comfortable speed that supports new and improved behavior.

Beginners Steps in the Process of Change Management

Step 1: Create a climate for positive change. Take exceptional care of yourself in order to have the time, energy or interest to care effectively for others. This will allow you to craft a more balanced life. Take personal time, nurture your body with healthy foods and exercise, practice open and honest communication, and simplify your life.

Step Two: Get really clear about where you spend your time and in turn, what areas of life are out of balance. I often use a simple assessment called the Circle of Life to paint this picture. Take a piece of paper and draw a big circle in the middle. Divide the circle into 8 equal parts. One the outside of each circle and label the tip of each dividing line as follows: Finances, Health and Well Being, Relationships, Career/Work, Personal Growth, Creativity, Recreation. Now, ask yourself, on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being completely dissatisfied and 10 being completely satisfied) how you would rate each part of your life? The center of the circle represents zero and the outer edge a whopping 10. Make a mark on each line to reflect your conclusions. Then connect the dots and you will find your circle is misshapen. This is a simple, yet powerful way to spotlight what needs your attention to achieve greater balance.

Step Three: Take one small step at a time to regain balance. Finances out of whack? Schedule a day to organize your files and records. Health and wellness less than idea1? Begin drinking 8 ounces of water a day. Get the idea? Start small and before you know it you will wake up to a life you have created rather than a life that has created you.

Step Four: Get support. Find a buddy to team up with, communicate to your loved ones about what is happening, and gather with women whose stories remind you, you are not alone.

When you take the time to step back and craft your life, to reflect on whats most important and on what makes your heart sing, what once was the stress of too many balls in the air beautifully transforms into peace of mind. This is what occurs when you juggle with fun and grace. Tips For Keeping Pets

Animals unlike humans cannot express their feelings and they cannot go on making demands and tell their owners when they need food. They are animals. Pet keepers bring home fish, cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters and birds home all the time eagerly but sadly, they fail to take proper care of their pets because of which their animals die. If pets can not speak out, pet keepers themselves should be humane enough to understand their pets heartily and give them their rights.

Some basic and simple tips for pet keepers can ensure a healthy and loving relation between themselves and their pets. As far as dogs are concerned it is advisable to keep it in a proper dog house which should be comfortable and cozy enough for it to reside in. Whenever you take out your dog for a walk make sure you leash it. They are playful animals, they love to jump and mingle with other animals and chase things. So avoid any bad circumstances it is always better to play it safe. Cats are well mannered and they are less messy than dogs. However they too need proper care. Dogs and cats should be bathed regularly and their utensils cleaned on daily bases. If your dog or cat ever urinate or excrete in your lounge, you should never leave it unclean. It is highly unhygienic for animals and pet keepers both.

The animals that you keep in cages need a little more attention. They are enslaved so it is better to make them at least feel free. Birds or rabbits should never be kept in small cages. They should be big enough so that your birds can easily flutter their wings and fly about. It should be big enough so that your rabbit can run about and hide when it wants to hide. Animals kept at home should provide them with a sense of being in their natural habitats. This way they feel free and they live happily. Their cages, their beddings should be cleansed thoroughly and regularly.

Animals should be vaccinated whenever they need to be. They should be taken for regular medical checkups so that they stay health and energetic. Animals too should be kept in a secured area and never be left out on their own. Pets are unlike the stray animals; they are vulnerable and require special attention. So pet keepers should make sure they take care of their pets the way they should be kept. They can always keep themselves updated through internet and magazines to acknowledge and fulfill their pet's needs.

Political Correctness Is On Par With Communism - The Bitch!

Well Darlings,

There has to be a reason for it. It is unnatural. Perhaps it is to do with some of the modern foods people eat these days? Or something in the coffee? I hope it isn't anything to do with all the Chinese ingredients companies now add to so many of our foods today without telling us. If Chinese food has been killing the dogs in America and making people ill, as I read recently, I don't want to be eating it! Whatever it is I'm looking for, it needs to be found quickly for it is responsible for a pronounced lack of common sense in too many people. Some of these people shoulder enormous responsibilities, and we rely on them to use their common sense to keep us from harm. One such person is the Chief Inspector of Prisons, Anne Owers.

Leyhill Open Prison in Gloucestershire - it has no perimeter security fence whatsoever - has been ordered to house up to 50 very high risk criminals, including a "relatively large group of men" sex offenders. This is the prison where almost 400 inmates simply walked out between 1999 and 2006. During that time the inmates here were disappearing at the rate of more than one a week. Mostly they were those convicted of robbery and burglary offences, but alarmingly they also included 22 murderers and 7 rapists.

Anne has at least had the common sense to question the "appropriateness" of placing such higher-risk inmates in open jails, but still wallows around in a fudge of uncertainty. Like so many today, if it isn't written down somewhere exactly what to do, she appears to be at a loss. She talks of the guidance on whether such offenders should be in open prisons as being "unclear", and complains there are no clear rules on whether high risk prisoners should be put on normal resettlement programmes where they work in local colleges or companies. What? She needs guidance and rules for this? Has she no savvy?

I have to question why any person should need to be guided in order to know whether or not murderers and sexual offenders, some of them rapists, should be kept in open prisons where they can simply walk out. Even just a modicum of common sense will say: no, they must always be kept in secure accommodation - and yet strangely it has been the Prison Service's policy to send these offenders to Leyhill for years.

In my mind, whoever decides prison policy might well benefit from a trip to the convent in Lisieux where St. Thrse, the Patron Saint of Common Sense, spent some years - and if they don't find any, perhaps they should stay there! Other than that they should be forced to take up residence with their families somewhere close to Leyhill - given time, I'm sure a few of the inmates would love to pop in on them to say thanks!

I hate having to bring it up yet again, it is becoming tedious, but it really does need to be kept in the news. Our appalling NHS has suffered a scathing attack by the Scottish newspaper the Daily Record under the front page headlines: Scotland's Killer Hospitals. The paper revealed that almost 1 in 10 patients pick up an infection in a Scottish hospital, and in one Glasgow hospital the rate is nearly 1 in 5. The hospital acquired infections (HAIs) kill more than 500 patients a year in Scotland alone and cost the NHS a staggering 183million.

In England and Wales, where HAIs are almost as prevalent, to add to this deplorable situation we now learn that more than 24,000 hospital patients were reportedly given the wrong treatment last year. In some cases this has led to serious injury and even death.

Our NHS really cannot be allowed to continue on in this state. It never used to be like this, so why is it now? All the money they are spending - wasting? - on various "health issues" in an attempt to take the focus off their own gross failings must cease immediately, and they must knuckle down and address the real health threat to the nation - themselves! That money needs to be spent in the hospitals cleaning them and teaching the staff and doctors basic hygiene standards. A 1 in 5 chance of catching an infection that might kill you, and if it doesn't it is still most unpleasant, has to be dealt with as a matter of urgency.

I have little doubt that someone still with some common sense left needs to be brought in to give those in the NHS the "guidance" and "direction" that so many people cannot seem to function without these days. The worrying factor is: people with common sense are becoming increasingly harder to find.

Britain has 4.2 million CCTV cameras, 1 for every 14 people - that's more than in the rest of Europe all put together! - and yet we still have some of the worst crime rates in Europe. Cameras are an easy "cop out" for politicians - it makes it look like they are addressing the problem - and whilst cameras have been invaluable recently in tracking the movements of terrorists, so we do need them, they are a long way from being the answer to preventing crime on our streets. Proof of this comes from the Holloway Road in London. With more than a hundred cameras along its two-mile length it is the most spied upon road in Britain, and yet last year, over a period of just 6 months, we're told 430 offences were committed there, including 29 serious assaults, 15 robberies and 32 burglaries.

What does common sense suggest to you? A few more police needed on the street? It's something worth a try, isn't it? But I doubt that they will get them - they'll probably install another couple of cameras, so pulling yet another copper off a street somewhere to stare at a screen.

So, where has all our common sense gone? Have we just lost it, or has it been stolen? Only those who have managed to retain at least some of theirs will know the answer to this one. Common sense has been stolen from us by those who forced us into political correctness. Wherever they encountered it, these people took it away from us. No-one is allowed the freedom now to analyse anything for themselves and come to their own sensible conclusions anymore - to use their own common sense - as we are told precisely how we must react to everything and every situation. We have become little more than a nation of zombies, unable to think for ourselves and just going through the motions of life like some bored repertory actors. However, with Gordon Brown's pledge to bring back competitive sport for our children, there is a slight glimmer of hope on the dark horizon. It needs to be grabbed and nurtured.

Common sense has always said to me that the winners are likely to be the best ones to do the job. Political correctness has for decades taken away competitiveness, so we have never really known who was best - we just guessed, or waited for a palm to be greased! School sports were banned in case those not good at them should feel inferior, and so too for a long time, and for the same reason, were many school examinations. Where common sense said everybody should have equal opportunities and achieve what they could from them, political correctness said everybody should be equal. The former is an admirable concept and is easily attainable; the latter is an utter impossibility, unless we are all dumbed down to the lowest possible denominator.

Political correctness is on par with communism: we are all equal, except we find some are far more equal than others - and they will be the ones who make up the rules. If you still have your common sense with you, it will be immediately apparent that, under this system, those least able to do a good job of making the rules are equally likely to be those doing just that job. Is it any wonder we are in such a state today?

Isn't it about time we threw out political correctness, and started using some common sense? Equal rights for everyone under the law - yes! But an equal (downtrodden) people, where one size fits all - no! We are all individuals. Our Creator made us that way, and no man has the right to change that!

"The Bitch!" 13/07/07.

The Leo Wanta Sage, Pt.31: Close Associate of Wanta Verifies His Story

A close friend of Ambassador Leo Wanta verified "most of what I've read about his story is true" but added ever since being released from a Wisconsin state prison while attempting to get $4.5 trillion repatriated, Wanta has not been communicating "with any of his old friends."

"If he doesn't want to talk with me, he doesn't want to talk with anybody," said Wanta's longtime friend, who wanted to remain anonymous for safety reasons, adding the nature and circumstances surrounding Wanta's story could be life threatening.

"Over the years, he has always kept by name out of everything, but I know from firsthand, not second hand knowledge, that what Leo says is true. I even went to the Washington Post to try and publicize his story when he was first arrested in Wisconsin in the 1990's. I never got to speak with Bob Woodward, but I was told by his assistant never to try and talk with Woodard again about Leo."

Wanta's longtime friend, an international financier, said he was unaware of the particulars behind Wanta's release or anything about the recent repatriation of $4.5 trillion of offshore money intended for the American people but blocked by the Bush administration for the last three months.

"I can't add anything new about his release from jail, the whereabouts of the trillions of off shore money or whether he has entered into a deal or been compromised in any way. All I know is that he has been fighting the powers that be for a long time and I hope everything works out for him since he is a good guy."

Wanta went public about two months regarding the repatriation of $4.5 trillion with the intent of using the money for the betterment of the American economy, including $1.6 trillion to be paid in taxes with the remainder of the money to reinvested.

His quest to repatriate the massive amount of money began more than a year after being released from a Wisconsin jail where he spent the better part of a decade, jailed for trying to block the last three presidential administrations from stealing trillions of off shore money he raised on behalf of President Reagan at the end of the Cold War.

Wanta was declared in 2003 the legal trustor of the approximately $27.5 trillion in offshore money by a memorandum opinion of Judge Gerald Bruce Lee. Since being released from jail, he has been trying to repatriate the money while claiming trillions have been stolen by criminals like George H. Bush and William Jefferson Clinton, who have been using the "off the books" money as their own personal booty.

Wanta's own records, for example, traced $1 billion of the money under his trustor control, the money instead diverted to an account in Panama in 1989 listed under Pilgrim Investments and Jorge (George )Bush.

Furthermore, Wanta has listed more than $745 billion in diverted funds under his control, which was made public more than eight months ago by the Arctic Beacon. Wanta claimed he was illegally jailed in order that the criminals in government who took control after President Reagan left office wanted him "out of the way," giving them a clear path to the money by stealing trillions out of accounts under his control.

As a recap, in June, he entered into an agreement to repatriate $4.5 trillion with the money to be used for the betterment of the American economy while, at the same time, revealing how the powers that be have been scamming the American people and stealing trillions since the end of the Cold War, money used to fuel the New World Order evil agenda.

Bust since June, according to Wanta, the Bush administration has illegally withheld the money, saying it will release it "when we are God D**n ready."

So, that is where the story sits now, as nothing has changed from the White House's arrogant statement of Sept. 14, according to Wanta and Michael C. Cottrell, treasurer of the financial group formed by Wanta to distribute the trillions to the American people.

Although the money has not been released, the way the behind the scenes dealings are working out need to be reported since the American people were the intended beneficiaries of the money, according to Wanta.

Both Wanta and Michael C. Cottrell, the treasurer of the company formed to distribute the money, are taking a "wait and see" attitude, saying they can't say anything since they do not want to upset the applecart.

However, it has been revealed the Bush administration wants the following conditions met before the release of the money:

They want it done quietly with no press coverage. They want to take credit for the release of the $4.5 trillion as if they were the "good guys wearing white hats." They want only the principal parties to mention the release by the verification of $1.6 trillion due in taxes without mentioning the use and purpose of the remainder of the money. And, of course, the administration wants no mention about how many trillions have been stolen in the past or how the trillions are to be used in the future.

So, with that said, if the Wanta money is released under these terms, he will have succeeded in forcing the government to uphold the rule of law concerning his settlement, a settlement it should be emphasized structured for the benefit of the American people.

But under the gag order now apparently in place, it is incumbent upon the press to pursue the evidence already put in the public domain otherwise the criminals in government will walk away "scott free", having stolen trillions and able to continue stealing more.

Furthermore, the Wanta story has created up until now succeeded in creating serious agitation among the American people who are expecting to see some "financial light at the end of the tunnel" while creating, at the same time, a financial uproar around the world, attacking the full faith and credit of our nation while adding more fuel to the firestorm and downfall of our economy.

And if you look closely ? think hard ? isn't that exactly what the Vatican-led New World Order has planned for this country, planning a complete financial, social, political and moral destruction.

The questions regarding the Ambassador Wanta story need to be answered in hopes that the release of his money will help the cause of freedom and not further fuel the diabolical fires of fascism, working behind the scenes to destroy this country.

Healthy Dog Food Off The Shelf Or Make Your Own?

Dogs. They are our pets, our best friends, and the one set of ears that will never pretend to ignore us. Due to the fact that they are such great companions, it is clear why owners always want the best for their furry friends. After all, they do resemble a human being, thus it is reasonable to feed them the healthiest foods and purchase a plethora of unused toys. While top notch pet food is available in every store, it can be perplexing to try and find the healthiest product. With so many factors taken into consideration, the percentages and ingredients become mind boggling. So how does one pick dog food out of the thousands of brands?

The first thing a pet owner should know is that affordable brands dont always mean that it is better. As we all know, dogs are like humans and they need their nutrition. Most dog food brands make sure that ingredients include meats, proteins, and fibers. However, there are those that focus on affordability rather than nourishment, which is why many animals begin to face problems. In order for your pet to have a healthy diet, you must find a food brand that incorporates protein, such as steak, chicken, or another type of meat. Additionally, these types of food should also have vitamins and minerals in them. Though dogs are much different than human beings they still require nutrients that keep them healthy and feeling great. If you are hesitant on a certain brand, chances are there may be a problem. It is recommended that you either consult the company itself, or perhaps find a book on healthy dog food. These resources will easily help you eliminate the brands that are more concerned with money.

Are you still unsure of what youre feeding your dog? Many pet owners simply run to their veterinarians, hoping that they will have a speedy answer. Fortunately, they can recommend many different brands one which will hopefully be affordable and still beneficial for your dog. Although some people feel that professionals will just try to steer them in the expensive direction perhaps food that is sold in their office, this is not necessarily true. A vast majority of veterinarians are concerned and want to make sure your dog is in top shape.

Luckily, there are other alternatives to healthy dog food, if you are just not pleased with the products. Recently, pet owners are beginning to take matters into their own hands. Since resources are booming, people can now cook their own dog food. Thats right no more instantaneous trips to the pet store. Since dogs love meat and vegetables, it is easy to find them a balanced diet. Many people are actually adding chicken to their dogs kibble or attempting to make beef cookies and dog food stew. Astonishingly, there are many health food websites catered to dog food, which will tell you exactly what to add to your dogs meal and which recipes are popular. Given that we treat our animals as if they were our human companions, it is no surprise that we are now feeding them the same way.
